We fund the whole path — from the first application to the day a scholar walks across a stage — with three kinds of support that work together.
We award direct financial support toward tuition, books, and fees for women pursuing degrees, certifications, and credentials — tailored to what each scholar needs to move forward.
Every scholar is paired with a mentor for encouragement, accountability, and practical advice — from choosing courses to navigating financial aid to planning what comes after graduation.
Scholars stay connected to Good For Kids long after their program ends — through informal check-ins with mentors and the educators who started it all in 2003.
Good For Kids is a proud Community Partner of the Community Center of Northern Westchester.
Every program exists because of the scholars who trust us with their next step.
